I’ve developed a simple 6 step plant-forward plan to take control of PCOS, and I want to share it with you! I’ve found a way to use plant power to help you take control of your PCOS, get your period back and show all your symptoms who’s boss:

PCOS increases insulin resistance, which can cause chronically high blood sugar. Learn to balance meals and use the power of whole grains, so you can keep blood sugar even all day and avoid cravings and excess weight gain.

PCOS can be highly inflammatory. Learn to add in plant foods that will reduce inflammation over time to help you avoid chronic diseases and reduce period pain.

3. Improve Gut Health to Banish Bloating and Constipation

We’re learning more and more about how our gut health is related to overall health. Learn to maintain a diverse microbiome with prebiotics and probiotics to treat stomach and intestinal symptoms like diarrhea, constipation and bloating.

I know what it’s like to go to your doc with hormone-related issues and be told to go on the pill or just lose 10 lbs (yup, I was told to do both those things). BUT, the good news is, diet and physical activity are the first lines of defense for PCOS!
