Hi, I’m Jeani!
Are you in your 30s or early 40s and want to get pregnant in the next few years? Do you struggle with PMS symptoms like headache, cramps, bloating and constipation? Do you have endometriosis, PCOS, hypothalamic amenorrhea (loss of period) or another hormonal condition that affects your life and your fertility? I’m here to help you take control of these conditions and symptoms through simple, easy and delicious diet and lifestyle changes.
I am a Registered Dietitian, certified in the state of Washington, and I hold a Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Washington. I help women improve fertility, beat PMS symptoms, delay pregnancy into their late 30s and early 40s and take control of chronic disease, all while finding joy and delight in their food. When I’m not talking about, thinking about or eating food, you can find me in the air, practicing and teaching aerial circus arts or walking my dog Raven.
I’ve developed a luscious plant-based, anti-inflammatory nutrition plan to help you take control of your symptoms and body, while loving every minute! I individual all of my nutrition plans to your tastes and preferences, and I infuse all of my recommendations with a sense of balance and joie de vivre. This means I help you incorporate more healthy, nourishing and nutrient-dense foods into your diet, rather than restricting, while enjoying the good things in life like a glass of bubbly on your deck or a tasty treat to end your evening.
My true love affair with food began when I studied abroad in France. There, I was lucky enough to have roommates who taught me a new philosophy of cooking. We would pick up fresh, local produce at the Farmers Market each week, cook it up with pantry staples like whole grains, beans and spices and perhaps add in a glass of red wine and voila – a lovely, healthful meal was prepared. It was a magical process to me, one that I have carried throughout my life and has shaped my thinking on food. Most importantly, it showed me that nutritious food can be a joyful experience. Since then, I have learned to incorporate intuitive eating and nutritional science with that joie de vivre to help my clients enjoy their food, accept their bodies and love every moment.
